How do I protect the bottom of my handbag?

The bottom is where the weight of the bag lands. On a soft bag, that weight folds the base. The fold creases the material, and the lining at the base takes the rub. A base shaper liner gives the inside of the bottom a flat surface.

Scratches on the outside, from setting the bag on the ground, are a different problem. This liner is inside the bag. It does not add feet, and it does not cover the exterior.

Order the cut for the bag you own. A Bayswater, a Speedy 30, and a Keepall 55 do not share a cut. The handbag is not included.

How do I stop the bottom of my purse from creasing?

Keep the base flat while you carry the bag and while it is stored. A base shaper liner is cut for one model so it sits in that bottom.

Does a base shaper protect the outside of the bag?

No. It protects the shape of the bottom from inside. Outside scuffs need different care.

What is a base shaper liner?

It is the liner Princess Cut sells: a base shaper that goes in the bag, not the bag, and not an organizer. Princess Cut Handbags is not affiliated with any bag manufacturer.
